Land litigation remains one of the major problems in Ghana. Lately, issues regarding land have been on the increase, and have made most of the headlines. There have been a lot of demolishing exercises carried out; land guards selling and reselling lands to people; flooding, and tidal waves invading lands in areas such as Glefe, a community near Dansoman, and all suburbs in Accra in the Greater Accra Region.
Building is a part of our everyday lives, which we cannot do without. The homes in which we live, the offices in which we work, recreational centres, hotels, and all other facilities came into being through building.
In Ghana, as in any part of the world, there are many building contractors and construction firms who undertake building projects. Unfortunately, not all of them are accredited; and lesser; would they even think of introducing their clients to insuring their construction projects or properties.
